Join us virtually or in-person at the New York Athletic Club for the Autism Science Foundation’s 9th Annual Day of Learning. The TED-style conference begins at 10:00 a.m. EST and includes the following talks:

- Dr. Brigitta Gundersen, Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative – “Understanding the Biological Bases for Sex Differences in ASD: Novel Research Approaches”
- Dr. Amy Wetherby, Autism Institute, Florida State University – “Using Mobile Technology to Help Families Detect Autism Earlier and Improve Outcomes”
- Dr. Zoe Hawks, Harvard Medical School “Measuring the Impact of Leisure Activities on Quality of Life in Autism: What Do the Data Show?”

COVID Protocols – All guests attending the in-person event are required to show proof of of two COVID-19 vaccinations from Pfizer or Moderna or one vaccination shot from Johnson & Johnson. Proof of vaccination must be provided upon check-in. Face masks must be worn at all times except when eating or drinking. Attendees who reside outside of NY state will be required to show proof of vaccination and their state approved ID. This is subject to change in accordance with New York State law.
In-person guests will receive a gift bag, buffet lunch and festive dessert reception following the presentations. Seats are limited in order to maintain social distancing.
Virtual participants will be able to view all speaker presentations and the award ceremony. You will not receive meals, a gift bag or be able to participate in the Q&A.
NYAC Dress Code: Men – Jackets are optional; slacks, a collared shirt and dress shoes are permitted. Women – Relaxed, casual (skirt or slacks with blouse). Both – Jeans, T-shirts and sneakers are prohibited.
