Join us for a FREE 60 minute virtual ZOOM weCPR session sponsored by Allies of Indiana which will focus on self-care especially during these challenging and fearful times as we battle COVID-19 in the United States and Globally. During our time together we will check in with each other, support each other and share strategies of self-care. We ask that you bring your favorite beverage (non-alcoholic) and find a quiet place to connect with the group.
Registration is limited and on a first come first serve basis. This will give us the opportunity to truly support each other during our 60 minutes together. Please note: You will be given the opportunity to register for a next session, if the session you choose is FULL.
Please register on Eventbrite. The information you need to attend your session will be sent to you via email once you have registered.
Emotional CPR (eCPR) is a public health initiative designed to teach anyone how to assist others facing an emotional crisis. eCPR is based on the principles shared by a number of support approaches: trauma-informed care, recovery components, instilling hope, counseling after disasters, peer support, and cultural and social atonement. It was developed by a diverse cadre of leaders who themselves have learned how to recover and grow from an emotional crisis through:
C = Connecting
P = emPowering
R = Revitalizing
“When I am able to feel and accept my emotions, and not be frightened by them, I can create a relationship which allows the person in distress to accept their emotions and move through them.”
