Autism Engagement Network (AEN) is a collaborative network that includes Indiana Interagency Autism Coordinating Council (IIACC) and Local Community Cadres (LCCs), as well as resources and initiatives, such as the Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and INformation Network website. All components continually and iteratively evolve through the process of data reviews, collective input, vetting, and dissemination by the IIACC membership as well as other state, regional and community stakeholders.

 

Created and facilitated by HANDS in Autism®, the goal of the AEN is to facilitate collective navigation, dissemination, and implementation of products, resources, services an actions related to the needs and gaps identified through ongoing monitoring and network collaborations in supporting individuals with ASD across the lifespan . The progressive evolution and strengthening of the IIACC, the LCCs and INformation Network, specifically in the past reporting cycle, have led to expanded opportunities for community engagement as well as collective messaging and efforts related to autism services and representative of the full range of stakeholders.
